A bedtime story with teeth. My most recent game — still in active development.
Two halves of one flame, tied together by a single thread of light, fight all night over the lost dreams that keep a shrine burning.
Dream Lanterns is a local 1v1 couch game in which a gentle keeper and a patient predator are bound by an unbreakable elastic tether. Wick’s half of the line calms wandering dream-spirits and guides them home to feed the shrine; Gloam’s half scatters them into the dark to starve it. You aim purely by where you stand relative to your opponent, and the shrine’s lit radius breathes wider or tighter to show, without a single number on screen, who is winning.
